About Me

My photo
Bryan Perrin Studio
Bryan Perrin is an American Artist: a prodigious painter, an engaging speaker, a gifted sculptor, a struggling writer and an occasional performer. After receiving his BFA in painting from Ohio University in 1983, he started his professional career in art and instruction. Exhibiting in galleries, clubs and private collections, Bryan also has had an extensive career both as an illustrator and scenic artist as well as a decorative finish painter. His lifelong interest and research in aquatic and nature studies, particularly the watershed and its symbiotic relationship with our society, has been a primary focus of his work since moving to the Hudson Valley 13 years ago. For the last 6 years he has had the privilege to work on the Hudson River as a contract educator at the Clearwater Tidal Program in Esopus Meadows and he volunteers with the Hudson River Maritime Museum. He is the co-founder of a small nature and arts education center where he teaches fine art and nature studies to children and their families.
